She originally became involved with the Centre in 2008, initially helping with the charity Christmas cards and subsequently became an office volunteer, followed by a Trustee in 2012. Sue also manages the Volunteer Centre website as well as Twitter and Facebook. She has a considerable network of contacts, brings a wide variety of skills to the Centre and enjoys helping to ‘make a difference’ in the community.

He was with Uckfield FM from the start and is now their Managing Director, only recently deciding to give up presenting the Friday breakfast show because of new working commitments. Mike is a Vice President of the Uckfield Carnival & Bonfire Society and can very occasionally be heard ringing the bells of Holy Cross Church! He brings his long business and commercial awareness to the Volunteer Centre and says he is “delighted to be involved with a really worthwhile organisation”.
Mike has worked for Sussex Police for 42 years before retiring in 2000. During that time he co-founded Uckfield FM in 2002 and was also a Director and Trustee of the Hospital Broadcasting Association.
