Young at Heart session leader

About the opportunity

Artytime’s mission is to bring arts and crafts to all ages and abilities.

We do this by offering art and craft sessions, workshops and events.

We also have a scrap store where local businesses donate waste materials we could reuse for art projects.

About Artytime

Artytime is a community group run by volunteers with a mission to bring arts and crafts to all ages and abilities.

Phase one is focused on children and their families.

Phase two will focus on the elderly and vunerable adults.

More information can be found on our website.

What are they looking for?

A volunteer to assist or lead an Artytime Young at Heart session. These sessions mix parents and their children (under 5) with the elderly for some meet and greet, play, story, craft and rhyme time.

Great communication skills and the ability to make people feel at ease no matter what the age.

Willing to learn and follow the program.

No creative skills are necessary but are a bonus.
