Wealden Citizens Advice provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice and campaign on big issues affecting people’s lives.
People go to them with all sorts of issues. They may have money, benefit, housing or employment problems, or they may be facing a crisis or just considering their options.
About the Opportunity
They are looking for people with good organisational or management skills, who can work well in a team situation. Trustees will join our existing team and support us to deliver free and independent advice to our Community focusing on this issues that matter to them most.
- Working with the CEO and other trustees, you will actively contribute to our strategic direction: setting the policies, defining goals, setting targets and evaluating performance, acting in the best interest of the organisation at all times.
- Monitoring whether the service complies with its governing documents, is meeting Citizens Advice standards and how well the advice needs of the community are being met.
- Monitoring the financial position of the organisation ensuring it operates within its means and objectives with accountability for day to day financial management
