About Uckfield Volunteer Centre
Uckfield Volunteer Centre was founded over 25 years ago by the community for the community.
Our award winning centre provides an invaluable community hub serving Uckfield and the surrounding area.
Our primary role is to match people wanting to volunteer with charities or community groups needing help. You can search for local opportunities on Do-it.org, or if you prefer to have a chat with someone face-to-face, you can come into the centre at 79 High Street (just up from the cinema).
As well as helping people with volunteering, we also provide local information such as bus timetables, a photocopying & laminating service, replacement hearing aid batteries and iPad and iPhone training (see our website for more details). In addition, we support community groups and local charities, who are our members, by providing networking events and training.
The center is run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers. We are grateful for support from Uckfield Town Council.
