Thousands of community support groups have been set-up across the country to help those self-isolating during the coronavirus outbreak.
The community spirit is truly heart-warming. These groups of volunteers are offering to deliver food or medicine to the elderly and most vulnerable.
Covid-19 Mutual Aid UK, is an umbrella organisation coordinating the groups. If you look at their website, you can search by postcode or town/village, or view a map of the country to find your nearest group.
Below we will list the support groups that we are aware of in our area. Some are new groups, others were already in existence, but are helping in the current coronavirus situation.
These contact details will enable you to get in touch, to seek help for yourself or a loved one.
Wealden District Council has now set-up a Community Hub. If you need help for a vulnerable person, then you can either register using their online form or call 01323 443322.
