Driver for Engage charity – TN22 Club

About this Opportunity

ENGage is a local rural charity that runs two clubs – the TN22 Plus Club provides an activities-based club for people with mild to moderate dementia. We also have a sister club, the TN22 Club – a social and companionship lunch Club for the over 60’s (non-dementia).
We also have outings/coffee mornings throughout the year.

We are particularly looking for driver volunteers, at our non-dementia social lunch club. As the club is in a rural position in Hadlow Down village with no public transport links, volunteer drivers are a vital resource in supporting people to get to and from
the club.

The TN22 Club is a fortnightly club held on alternate Wednesdays, with an emphasis on friendship, fun and varied activities with a 2-course home-cooked lunch.

Drivers could stay for the session to support our activities from 11am – 2.00pm or just do the driving, whatever suits.

What they are looking for

We need volunteer drivers to transport our members to and from our TN22 Club. We need people who are warm. caring, respectful and enjoy the company of older people. Patience and a sense of humour is helpful.
