About this Organisation

Wealden Citizens Advice provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice and information, and campaign on the big issues affecting people’s lives in Wealden. Their goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face. They are an independent charity and are part of the Citizens Advice network across England and Wales. They value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination wherever we see it.

About this Opportunity

Wealden Citizens Advice are looking for volunteers in their friendly Uckfield, Hailsham and Crowborough offices to help run their operations.

This will involve general administration duties, helping the offices and organisation to continue running smoothly, and keep providing people with a trusted source of advice in dealing with difficult life issues.

You don’t require any specific qualifications, but you’ll need to be friendly, approachable, good at listening, have basic IT skills and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.

Ideally, you would be available one day a week between 9am – 3pm, however hours can be flexible to suit your schedule.

Travel expenses are paid for.
