Client telephone check-in volunteer – Age UK East Sussex

Local branch of national charity. Leaders in local area aimed at helping older people. They offer a wide range of services, including providing information about a multitude of subjects pertinent to the older generation, supporting veterans, assisting people leaving hospital to help ensure they aren’t in need of re-admission, running social clubs.

About this opportunity

As part of their Community Response Team you will be calling clients to see how they are doing, and to find out if the client is a veteran. This is a one off call, rather than a regular befriender. You will feedback your call to our Community Response Coordinator via an online form. They will then decide on how we can best help the client. This role can be done from home and needs access to a pc or laptop, telephone and the internet.

As part of their Community Response Team, they will support you with training and provide ongoing assistance. This role will require a DBS check which they will carry out.
