About this Organisation

Wealden Citizens Advice provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice and information, and campaign on the big issues affecting people’s lives in Wealden. Their goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face. They are an independent charity and are part of the Citizens Advice network across England and Wales. They value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination wherever we see it.

About this Opportunity

Wealden Citizens Advice are looking for volunteers in their friendly Uckfield, Hailsham and Crowborough offices to help deliver their service, giving information and advice to clients.

With full training, you’ll gain new skills, meet new people, and make a real difference to their clients by helping them overcome the problems they face.

They’re a registered charity providing people with free information and advice to help them solve their benefits, debt, employment, and other problems.

You don’t need any specific qualifications, but you’ll need to be friendly, approachable, good at listening, have basic IT skills and a willingness to learn.

Ideally, you would be available one day a week between 9am – 3pm.

Travel expenses are paid for.
